They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I take lots of pictures... on a daily basis. Even more since Alex was born. Enjoy a picture a day (or almost everyday), courtesy of me.

i love me some jason
Mraz, that is. To most of you, the girl singing with none other than Mr. Jason Mraz is just a girl that got "lucky." Haha! But to me, this is one of my sister's best friend's from high school! Teeny, tiny Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, FL! There were less than 500 students at the school when we were there, and most of our friends are doing some AMAZING things now. Alysse is just one example.
I know that I haven't updated in almost 2 weeks, but we've been out of town and I've been busy getting the house back in order. We had a great vacation, but all that is in my other blog and the pictures are, of course, on Facebook.

we're heading to a wedding
That was my status on Facebook yesterday... nobody got the reference from Will Roger's Follies. Oh well. The wedding ceremony in itself was short, but sweet. I heart weddings. We brought Alex with us becaue, well, what's a wedding without a crying baby. Seriously though, I have never been to a wedding where kids were not allowed. It's almost bad luck to not have a fussy child during the ceremony. Alex did fairly well during the ceremony. Until he couldn't sit still anymore. This is what happens when we go to church too. After about 15 minutes of sitting in a pew, he's ready to get up and move again. The reception was fun, but nobody wanted to dance. I love dancing, and I don't need alcohol (although I did have a couple of drinks) in order to "shake my groove thing." That's the thing about most of the weddings we have been to (with the exception of family and extended family)... nobody really wants to dance.Friday, July 17, 2009
two little monkeys
Yesterday morning, I watched my friend, Beth's little girl for her. Samantha is only 3 months older than Alex, and they get along really well with each other. They are both wild and crazy. I had so much fun watching them play. And in the end, it made me realize that I'm glad that I didn't have twins..jpg)
